MC800B Motion Controller
The MC800B is up to Seven Axis Motion and I/O’s Controller. The main Computing and Control component of the Controller is the Mega-Fabs Multi-Axis Control Module MCM3/400 (DSP Core). The extremely high algorithmic power of this Core is defined by joined power of its chipset
DSP Core MCM3/400
Up to 40 KHz Total Sample Rate not depending on the number of the active axes
Three pairs of Gantry axes (total Six DC Brushless motors) Control of one more Step Motor in Pulse-Direction mode
Cascaded (nested) Velocity-Position loops control structures, velocity and acceleration feed-forward
PI anti-windup algorithms, several flexible Bi-Quad filters in each of the loops and Mega-Fabs proprietary Common Gain Scheduling algorithms
Vector control commutation for DCBL motors. Hall less DCBL Start Up algorithm does not require any start up movements
LR (Linear and Rotary Yaw) Gantry control
Proprietary control structures and algorithms can be easy implemented by the use of WizAlg – a graphical, icon-driven visual tool for algorithms block diagrams building, loading and testing
No programming background required to build the customers proprietary algorithms; No Mega-Fabs participation is required
Smart, On-the-Fly motion profile computing
Jerk based motion profiles, smooth jerk, acceleration and velocity Feed-forward outputs generation
S-curve profiles allow on-the-fly changes of the target, velocity and acceleration/deceleration
32 bit standard, 64-bit extended position range
32 bit velocity, acceleration and jerk ranges
